The fencing at Door de Kraal Dam has been completed by the Sub-Council. Fencing has been added along the Jip de Jager Drive and Van Riebeeckshof Road, sides of the park, including three access gates. These gates are jointly managed by CNI Security (Van Riebeeckshof Rd side) and Welgemoed CID (Jip de Jager Drive side), who take care of opening and securing them.

Gate locking times are as follows:

Summer: Locked 21h00
Winter: Locked 20h00
Unlocked daily at 05h00.
