City Improvement Districts (CIDs) operate as registered Non-Profit Companies (NPCs), established by property owners through a formal Members Meeting. The CID is governed by a Board of Directors elected annually at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) and meet monthly under an elected Chairperson. Board members are responsible for implementing the approved business plan and reporting back to the NPC members on progress and outcomes at the AGM,

WCID GOVERNANCE
Any registered property owner within the CID area may apply to become a member of the NPC. While all community members are welcome to attend and participate in meetings, only approved NPC members may vote on matters at members’ meetings.
