Welgemoed’s strength lies in its residents, people who care, contribute, and take pride in where they live. As we enter the next term for the Welgemoed CID, we’re inviting residents to get involved by joining one of our subcommittees.
The NEW Welgemoed CID Board will be meeting on 18th November where the business plans will be discussed and portfolios decided on. In that spirit we thought we’d get the volunteered subcommittees together soon afterwards.
This is your chance to be part of the conversation from the start and help shape the projects that will define the next phase for Welgemoed.
Safety
The goal remains simple: to ensure all residents can move freely, live securely, and enjoy peace of mind, day and night.
👉 Join this team if you’re technically minded and have an interest in surveillance and safety systems. Your input can help strengthen Welgemoed’s security network.
Skoonmaak & Instandhouding
Die WCID-skoonmaakspan werk voortdurend daaraan om ons omgewing netjies te hou deur rommelverwydering en seisoenale instandhouding te koördineer. Ons soek inwoners wat kan help om gemeenskaps-skoonmaakdae te organiseer in die natuurreservate en ander openbare ruimtes. Die werk self word deur ons spanne en vennote gedoen, ons benodig mense om te help reël en koördineer.

Greening
This team restores and reimagines Welgemoed’s green spaces, from parks to pathways, creating vibrant areas for all ages that support outdoor living and bring neighbours together.

Maatskaplike Verantwoordelikheid
Ons fokus op vennootskappe met plaaslike organisasies soos MES, Huis Jabes, Alta du Toit en Magdalena Huis om dié te ondersteun wat dit die meeste nodig het. Ons benodig inwoners wat kan help met fondsinsameling en die reël van gemeenskaps geleenthede.
