A garden is never really finished. It develops over time as plants mature, ideas change and gardeners learn what works in their garden. The result often reflects years of creativity, knowledge and care. This spring, some of that work will be put on show through the Seeff Properties Garden Competition, sponsored by the local teams of Seeff Durbanville & Welgedacht.

Residents of Welgemoed, Door de Kraal, Bellville Ext 43, Kenridge Ext 4, Blomvlei and Selborne are invited to enter their gardens for assessment by professional gardening experts, with selected gardens progressing from photographic judging to an in-person visit. It’s an opportunity to recognise the thought and skill behind the gardens that contribute so much to the character of our neighbourhood.

How to Enter

Send your address and 6–10 photographs of your garden to lize.nel@seeff.com by 21 September. Photographic judging will take place from 21–28 September, followed by physical judging of selected gardens from 1–10 October. The winners will be announced at Welgemoed Straatwinkel on 10 October.
