Welgemoed CID is launching an exciting community project to reimagine Goewerneur Park as a vibrant, welcoming space, with a special focus on creating meaningful areas for teenagers and young adults. But to get this right, we need the voices of the people who live here.
Welgemoed CID is launching an exciting community project to reimagine Goewerneur Park as a vibrant, welcoming space, with a special focus on creating meaningful areas for teenagers and young adults. But to get this right, we need the voices of the people who live here.
Great parks aren’t built on assumptions; they’re built by listening, to families, walkers, teens, children who play, and the residents who move through the space every day. Your lived experience is what will shape this park’s future.
We invite you and your family to take 10 minutes to complete the survey below. Please involve your children or grandchildren, especially in the playscape elements section, they are the future users of the space, and their ideas truly matter.

Your feedback will guide the first draft of the landscape design, which will be shared with the community for further input. Together, we can create a Goewerneur Park that is welcoming, safe, and meaningful for everyone.
