As WCID continue to deliver on our core responsibilities, growing community engagement has made it essential to improve the way we communicate. The increasing volume of questions, ideas, and updates has prompted a more dynamic and responsive approach.

Our new website answers this need. It offers a reliable, accessible hub for CID Notices, community events, and the diverse stories that reflect the spirit of Welgemoed. The site functionality allows for sharing of posts via WhatsApp , Email and Facebook.

Should you have relevant news, events, or community updates to share, we welcome your contributions. Submissions must be submitted via email to Manager@welgemoedcid.co.za, and must include a header, image (3000 x 2000 pixels), five (5) paragraphs of content, and a brief motivation.

Why a Blog?

The blog offers a flexible, cost-effective way to share news, giving each update a permanent, shareable home, from WCID notices to local community stories. Shared via instant messaging, email, or social media, each post helps drive awareness while deepening the community’s sense of identity, culture, and connection.
