Planning to trim trees or clear out the garden? Welgemoed CID’s social impact partner, MES GROW, offers Welgemoed residents a convenient garden refuse collection service. Residents can arrange for a bakkie load of branches and other garden refuse to be collected directly from their property for approximately R775 per load.

Remember to Arrange Removal

Residents are reminded that garden refuse from a private property remains the responsibility of the property owner and is subject to the City’s waste management by-laws. Branches, tree cuttings and other garden waste should not be left on pavements or public open spaces for collection, as the City’s normal refuse service does not collect this type of garden waste.
