We’re excited to share a brand new community initiative at Sluysken Park, Young Entrepreneurs Market Day for kids!
Date: Saturday, 6 June
Time: 10:00 – 12:00
This is a fun opportunity for school-going children to set up a small table and sell almost anything they can dream up, from baked treats and crafts to games, toys, services, or creative ideas.
The goal is simple:
- Have fun
- Be creative
- Learn something new
- Try your first small business idea
Children should bring their own small table and join in the fun. There are no electricity points available, so stalls should be planned accordingly. Sales will most likely be cash-only for this first market day.
This is our very first trial event, and we hope it can grow into a regular community market for Welgemoed families and young entrepreneurs. Parents should keep an eye out for our event brochures and further details closer to the date. As this is an outdoor event, updates regarding possible bad weather or rain delays will also be communicated closer to the day.
