Well-designed parks become valuable community assets. Sluysken Park, a recent Welgemoed CID park upgrade, is a good example, regularly hosting activities such as the Welgemoed Young Entrepreneurs “Parkie Markie”, the recently launched Free Mini Library, and many informal gatherings that bring residents together throughout the year.
